Dormammu is awesome, that much is true. Galactus isn't playable? That kinda sucks. Though I suspose it would be difficult to play with a character who stands taller than a skyscraper.

Psssst Gold Lightan. I think Galactus was considered (given that PTX-40A was originally scheduled to return) but was cut due the game's engine having problems with big characters.

Nero only has one thing different about him than Dante. We already got 2 DmC characters, that's enough in my eyes.

Can never get enough DMC >_>

Although we do have 2 of the 4 (Only missing Lady and Vergil) best characters anyway (Nero sucks).

I was wondering, does anyone have a list of the confirmed stages and what series they came from. I heard there were only a few stages, but I couln't find any list.

There are 8 stages. I don't know them by name. Metro City is the only I do know by name. There is also a Megaman Legends stage, I believe. Also supposed to be 2 DLC stages at some point.

I knew there were 8 stages, but I don't know the names and from what series they are. I know Kattelox Island (MegaMan Legends), Daily Bugle (The amazing Spider-Man), Haunted Graveyard (Ghost 'n Ghouls), Metro City (Final Fight) and that's about it actually (I know there is also this Resident Evil stage). I'm searching for the name of the stage with that giant Buddha-ish statue in the background, shown is Taskmaster's and Akuma's trailers, this one:

EDIT: Oh yeah, S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier is also a stage.

I wanted Elektra in this game SO bad, you have no idea. She was easily my most wanted character. I hope she's DLC.

I think it's actually very possible to see Elektra as DLC. According to the MnC3 Developers, her name was thrown into dicussion a lot when discussing characters.

@Smellyalater: Ahh thanks for the information.

Elektra wouldn't have anything to offer to the game, though. Nothing unique enough to warrant adding her unless they play on her telepathy, she'd be similar to Wolverine/X-23. Although I suppose with enough effort she'd be interesting enough, there are really better Marvel choices.

Soooo... It's official. Frank West was cut, but expect him and maybe even Phoenix Wright popping out as DLC someday.

Wasn't Frank only cut because he took too much RAM though? I heard he caused troubles, but that was not why he was cut in the end. Like with Human Torch, he was only cut because his animations took too much space (but his base was used again for Super Skrull, I believe).

At least I can die knowing that Frank WAS in this game once. Chuck Greene can suck on that.
