To be honest, the oldest SSF2 was the most fun one. Well, when it was only 4-5 characters. But that's my personal opinion.

3. I can't go too far into that, but it's working to become a much more polished game than it was before. I simply cannot stress that enough. You all know how large changes that go on from demo to demo, since 0.7. 0.7 was a large, large bump. 0.8 will be as well. Will it be as large of a bump in the same area, or will it focus on different things? You'll just have to see for yourself when 0.8 is released.

4. I honestly hate answering this question, because I can't answer it and not sound like a pompous jackass. If I do sound like one, please forgive me, it isn't my intention. Anyway, I work in quite a few areas of SSF2. I like to refer to myself as a 'Swiss army knife'. I can do character sprite work, and animation, stage sprite work, coding work, Illustrations (for character portraits and such), and a few other things that I cannot tell you because that would serve as a spoiler for 0.8. I see myself as low on the 'dev tier list', but many devs try to force down my throat that I am otherwise. I didn't come into the dev section as 'useful' as I am now, though. When I entered I did low quality character and sprite animation.

2. What I hate about being a dev is:
A) Cannot prioritize to save their lives, unless someone suddenly decides to drive everyone. (Devs may say otherwise but they're deluding themselves. Truly.)
B) Biased beyond belief, "OH MAH GAWD I want to code/sprite so and so because they are MAH FA-VO-RIT KAR-ACK-TER."
C) We tend to go in circles of particular discussions, taking as two steps forward one step back. VERY. ANNOYING.

What I love about being a dev, is the whole team. We're sort of a family <3, and what we're doing together is really quite substantial. It's amazing to see the game grow from nothing to what it's going to be for 0.8.

3.Hmm unless something tragic happens, I'd say SSF2 is on a pretty good road right now. If the ending result is as I see it, I'd play it. I'd play it until I unlocked practically everything.

4. My piece of the pie? I'm a humble spriter, just taking on characters when no one else is there to work on them (or willing to...). Which makes me neglect my own personal projects but eh who cares.

Though I guess what everyone in the dev section would refer to me primarily is as Cleod's right-hand woman? Dictator? Nagging wench? Broken record? Well whatever, supposedly I have a lot of power in the dev section? Lord knows why... Though personally I see my duty as organizing. I prepare lists so that we know what are goals are (ie: due dates for characters....oh my). I also keep the peace, and keep Roy on a leash when I can.

I think SSF2 will be staying on the right road IMO, unless some kid joins the forums then he gets flammed and he threatens to dob on you guys to Nintendo.
BTW I'll think of some more questions later, your answers are really interesting.

5. Eh, not really. I've just been answering them when I don't particularly feel like doing anything else.
6. In a way. I've never had the urge to pop in and just ruin everything, but I do get really anxious as we approach the release of a new demo because I want people to see the cool stuff we've added.

3.What (in your honest opinion) do you think SSF2 will turn out like?

Depends on what new people join us in the next few months/years. If nobody does, it'll just be 0.8 with more content/work done. But it seems that recently, every new person that's joined us has significantly shaken up some aspect of our work in some way and made us much better, much busier, or much more annoyed.
Nicko wrote:
4.What piece of the pie are you? (What do you help with?)

Character coding. And loooots of it. I also sprited some of Kirby. I'll probably be doing something new in a few days as well... *cough*

5.Do you mind answering all these (Supposedly annoying) questions?

UGH ANNOYING
nah I don't mind :3

6.Sometimes do you get the feeling to just spill the beans? (Do you ever feel like revealing secret info about SSF2?

no that's roy's job.
*evil glare*

I do tend to see Roy in the speculation section.
Apart from you three, are there any other devs that would like to answer these?

lol, BTW do you, Ramsey and TSON want to PM me and we'll continue from there and we can lock this topic? Tid is already having a conversation with me in PM.
Or do you want to keep it?
