Regarding buried opponents recieving less KB: If that was the case, it would actually help with combos more in the long run. After all, less KB means that opponents are closer to you for a followup n stuff I honestly only asked because getting buried at 70% is a guaranteed death, which kinda feels eh. Buried opponents take less KB in the official games and noone complains about that ruining combos, so Im afraid I have to kindly disagree with your argument.

subtractive armor would make combo starters ineffective and ko moves less potent. the part that matters to us is the former - buried state should be used to start combos not to do 2-hit-kos with a charged smash attack

I hate to be that guy, but why exactly do you believe that the current state of bury physics encourage combos over 2 hit KO attacks? Because all I see are those 2 hit KO strings. I mean, that is the most logical thing to do as of now - why should I go for a combo that I may mess up, as simple as it may be, when I can just charge a Smash attack of my choice and guarantee the stock in the same scenario? I understand and respect the idea, but thats not how it works out sadly.

He has a point. Keeping normal knockback when buried instead of reducing it would make charged Smash attacks better in that situation, not worse.

Did projectiles get seriously nerfed in the update? It seems like everything clanks with them now. Why is that?

If you land it at a kill percentage, yes. The current methodology allows you to combo out of bury state at low percentages too though. You don't have time to charge a smash attack at 0-30% but you can set up to continue it into a combo instead. Probably coming off of the previous patch where nothing clanked it's a little jarring lol. Projectiles now follow the same priority scheme as regular attacks which is damage-based.

Was Mr. Game & Watch's disco taunt inspired by this gif?

^Those stages rule though and I do hope they're all coming back. Skyward Voyage, Distant Planet, you name it
Anyway, what was the reason behind Ichigo's Neutral-B change? Was it something 'experimental' similar to Tails' new Up-B?

What inspired the choice of Lunar Core from Final Fantasy IV as a stage (as opposed to any other location or any other game)?

One thing you and Sakurai have in common is you both strive to be perfect. You didn’t have to resprite Mario, Sonic, and the most recent Yosi but you did anyways. You could have left the old rip sprites in the game but you didn't. You remade them from the ground up. You did the same for the stages. My question to you is what makes you guys strive to be perfect? I'm currently going to college for 3D animation and you guys have always been an inspiration to me. I know what you guys make is 2D and I'm going to be working with 3D, but I would like to be perfect too.
