Nice to know. I was wondering where I could easily find the techs.

There are no techs that I know of, so perhaps you should ask questions such as followups/kill options off of it, uses, etc. Techs aren't everything, you know : P

It may actually be another back air. If the back air sends them somewhere still on the stage, try to read the tech roll and techchase it with another backair. If it sends them offstage, another back air could work but is risky, so you could try waiting to edgeguard with a ledgehog, dtilt>dthrow>whatever, downb, or spindash offstage>homing attack.

I've been thinking about possibly using the auto dash option. Any thoughts?

For Sonic, turning autodash on makes him suddenly feel slippery in my experience. Using autodash alone can cut off some followup options or make them harder by causing you to go too fast. A walk button can be helpful in this case. However, I'm not the expert on autodash Sonic(as I still use dtap), and maybe afrowarrior or reverse2reverb would be able to answer better.

Hmm. Alright. I usually use techs like dash cancelling, fox trotting and dash dancing to play around with my opponents a little.

Different things work for different people, and dash dancing can also be done with dtap. So just do what feels best.
