every SSB boss is just master hand with different attacks lol. I love sakurai but he really didn't do a great job on Subspace Emissary.

You got that right, they need more character like bosses like Metal Mario, and Giga Bowser.

Eh, tbh, the bosses did feel similar, but I'd still say that they are different enough (in most cases) to be considered different bosses. Doesn't change the fact that they pretty much sucked though. Where the f*** did they come up with Galleom? Put together broken action figure armor onto a purple kangaroo stuffed animal and see what they could come up with?

Non-Specific Action Figure's prototype :wee:

Duon is actually weirder, but Japanese fans like Mechas right? :shifty:

And yet the way you describe that reminds me of the Kangaroo in the Megaman X series...

EDIT: Ninja'd
@Thundaga: Non-Specific Action Figure's older brother?

And how come Galleom had to be fought twice in a row? Marth, Ike, and Meta Knight just defeated it, and then Lucas and the Pokemon trainer battle it right afterwards, and it has FULL HEALTH! How is that possible?
EDIT: @ Thundaga: Considering how many Team Rocket mecha things are in the pokemon anime, yeah. The Japanese love mechas.

wasn't it like a robot or something? maybe they built multiple models of the same robot just like how the Robs were mass-producing the bombs toward the end...
Just a thought; I don't really know.

Nah, it was the same Galleom.

One thing that kept me a bit puzzled was why is it that when an ally touches the base of a trophy, it animates, but then when Wario does it, for example, nothing happens?

Maybe it only animates for the good guys? I've never seen/heard of that before. Sure is interesting.

Maybe its a conscious choice on activating trophies and not automatic. Like, for example, Pit chose to reactivate Mario, but Wario chose not to activate anyone.

That's what I thought as well.

Now as for the SSE's plot, I didn't mind it, though I would have preferred to fight less generic enemies.

Here's what I think it should have been like:
-Enemies from Nintendo Franchises, some corrupted by Subspace
-Keep ONE Boss that is not Nintendo (Example, Galleom, he was actually a boss I liked) aside from Tabuu
-MOAR MASTER HAND
-Please, no Kirby 1-hit KO'ing the Subspace Gunship, that just killed the mood

I'm ready for the hate flames.

Master hand ia a f*** G. He should have like saved everyone or something. Then you fight him because everyone wants to kill something.

One thing that threw me off was that some bosses were defeated in the cutscene, then fought. Tabuu and Rayquaza in particular.

I can't remember, but after Sonic f*** up Tabuu's wing(s), was he still able to do that butterfly attack with both wings normal?

He could. During the actual fight against Tabuu the game assumes he's taken absolutely no damage despite that you can't even touch him until after Sonic comes in to bail your a**.
