Since the Summer Sale's already kicked itself off, I'd like to take a moment to point out a couple notable sales:
- Transformers Devastation is 75% off.
- Ghost 1.0, a metroidvania from the creator of Unepic, is 50% off despite being released this month.
- POSTAL Redux, remake of the original POSTAL, is in a similar boat, a month old and already half off.
- Aquaria is 75% off; this is the first time the game's been on sale in years.
- Axiom Verge is 40% off, currently the lowest the game's been so far.

Just something to note, all games that are on sale will be on sale until July 4th. Steam has stopped flash sales.

The new Humble Bundle would be completely forgettable, were it not for one thing: Gearbox's Battleborn is in the bundle, for $15. So if you were curious about the game, and thought $60 was far too steep a price, now's your chance to give it a look.

Or you could consider just how desperate Gearbox can be if it's being sold for 75% off two months after its release.

Steam has a big sale on various shoot-em-up games, so for anyone with an interest in the genre, now is your chance. There's plenty of classic Japanese shmup titles at your perusal, including the Gundemonium series and the CAVE games, but aside from that, there's also a good sale on games like Enter the Gungeon, Assault Android Cactus, Supercharged Robot Vulkaiser, Jamestown... wait, why the hell is Jamestown not on sale? This sale is made for that indie darling.

Whatever, just go get Gradius Overkill.

Good news: to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ubisoft, and in preparation for the sequel, Beyond Good And Evil is available for free for a limited time.
