Man, I love Captain Falcon!

It wouldn't be fair to include him and not any other starters. Lucario and Mewtwo were generation reps, and Jiggly and Pika are the faces of the series, plus the anime.

Maybe he could be in, but it would have to be with the other gen three starters, but I still don't see it happening.

They did that with Project M made Blaziken a skin of Captain falcon lolz.

So how would you guys feel if these were the only Pokemon characters in Smash?
1. Pikachu
2. Jigglypuff
3. Mewtwo
4. Lucario
5. Zoroark

the problem i have with zoroark is that the thing that makes zoroark zoroark is the illusion ability which i can't see really converting well into smash.

the illusion ability is meant to make you use the wrong attack on the wrong pokemon. but when it comes to smash, there's really no wrong move to use on a character.

While thats valid, I still really like Zoroark. I'd be fine if he was in, if only he had a Mega.
I'd rather their be more gen coverage because with that over half of those Pokémon are gen1. It'd be better imo if Mewtwo wasn't there in favor of a rep from a different gen but EVERYONE LOVES THEM SOME MEWTWO so I think I'm alone there.

Question: Which series/universe/game do you think deserves another rep?

My pick would be Fire Emblem for Chrom because ohmygod Awakening's soundtrack.

I still really see Pac-Man making it. He deserves it.

Donkey Kong needs another represenative with King K. Rool because we need more heavy weights and villians.

I would be fine with Dixie Kong as well.

Removing one of the most unique characters in Brawl would be a stupid stupid idea, especially in favor of an attempted mascot that failed when nobody actually liked the character

I'd be perfectly happy with Pika/Jiggs/Trainer/Lucario/Mewtwo though

the generation "mascots" seem to be as follows:
1. mewtwo/charizard (both of them have two mega forms, super nostalgia power behind both of them)
2. either legendary (i can't think of anything else, really. i guess MAYBE tyranitar)
3. both legendaries, arguably Blaziken (i say Blazeitken because he has a mega evolution and Torchic was distributed as an event while the others have no mega form that we know of)
4. Lucario (has a mega form plus his own movie)
5. Zoroark (zorua and zoroark were some of the first revealed pokemon, and had their own movie)
6. Sylveon (pretty much the mascot of fairy type and pokemon amie as a whole)


i can't see sylveon as anything but awkward, and most legendaries definitely seem to be difficult to implement

Unlikely but Deoxys would be really cool as a playable character if they got the form changing to work well
