21.) Don't put giant pictures in your sig or avatar, it shouldn't stretch your post box much more than it would if you didn't have any sig or avatar. If they cause horizontal scrollbars to appear or I think they're too big I might yell at you.

I know (from a failed attempt of mine of making a trainer card) that these forums don't allow you to put images in your sig that are bigger or wider than a certain standard. I'm not saying we should change that, but could we modify the rules to state the exact size?

No we don't.

My point exactly.

This is one of those unimportant things that are kinda important.

I agree with this statement.

The problem with that is it can get arguable when text is used to separate the images.... But did anyone have an exact size in mind?

I think he means the maximum dimensions.

For avis I believe it is 180 x 180 pixels
Sigs the height max is 250, not sure about width

I just checked, it's 250 for height, 500 for width.

On a semi-related note, Chif's sig is too big.

Your sig is really big because it takes a tiny chunk of the forums while scrolling down
Even though you follow the 500 text rule, your sig shouldn't stretch out

Edit:Like mines... Which im going to edit now

I think it's best if we take this in a case-by-case basis. Like chif for example can get rid of some of those blank lines to shorten the height of the sig by a bit

I still don't get what you're all talking about.

And all I'm saying is that we need somewhere where we can reference these numbers, instead of finding out the hard way that the trainer card we've worked on for four hours is way too big.

Edit: Oh wait. You mean between the quote I have there and the Mewtwo picture? Okay. I can fix that.

Yeah it's fine. If mods see a sig they think is too large it is usually taken care of anyway
