oh,drilling underground would be a great feature instead of an old, odd and very used idea

wtf happened to them to change the game like that

i can imagine drilling being boring assuming that it wasn't done like Sonic Colors with it being a side view
but mario kart + side view wouldn't exactly work

People relax there is no need to get all hung up in the past. Anti-Gravity is fine for Mario Kart 8. But anyway that's enough about the anti-gravity what do you think about online and how it will work. Also what do you think about online having the most game modes?

i think the online will work like this:

you go online and you race (and possibly battle) against other people

but anyway that's enough about the online what do you think about the actual gameplay

Crash Nitro Kart, actually. CTR didn't have anti gravity. It was heavily underused in CNK and that was a pretty mediocre game anyway so no biggie

Didn't show any NEW items. The demo had red & green shells, 'nanas, shrooms (regular and golden), and the fire flower. No leaf, so that was probably removed. The really strong items and new items weren't in the demo.

I wonder if they'll finally have the option to turn off individual items. Or at least an option to turn off particular items, like blue shells.

-_-. Um we all understand that what did you think about the announcement of most online modes what do you think they will be. For me I think the gameplay will be a lot (CaptainTid will be proud lol) of fun.

It would be indeed. Blue shells have been the biggest annoyance in the Mario Kart series if your always in first place if there going add them again they should make more of a better way to avoid them instead of having to have a mushroom and using it at the right time. Getting mushrooms in first place is very unlikely. Or they should make it like in Mario Kart 7 where you could see what items people have on the the gamepad and then you could let a person go in front of you then let them get hit and then get back into first.

you know, I can't remember if that was in or not

The map isn't there, but that should be for obvious reasons

There was a big icon for the character on the pad that rotated as you turned. I heard later that it was a f*** HORN which is SUPER AWESOME if it's true but I didn't try hitting it myself
