is it worth splurging $100 for p5 and a ps4 rn or should i wait

just get a PS3 and that version, they're basically identical and it'll probably be significantly cheaper

then you can play demon's souls and yakuza 3/4/5 and metal gear solid 4 and whatever other cool PS3 games there are as well

i want to be upset that they're milking Persona but i didn't really get sick of P4

the worst of the extra games was Persona Q but even that was alright. Arena, Ultimax, and even Dancing All Night were nice

i like a lot of the Picaro Personas to be honest, the only ones i really don't care for are Kaguya Picaro and Magasu Izanagi Picaro

also Kaguya is pretty busted, kinda shocked there's a Persona more broken than s***

Kamoshida's arc/dungeon is probably the most I've been angry at a game when it actually wanted me to be. Great antagonist in the sense that I want to knock him out, preferably with something metal.

^Shido is currently at the top of my list for "Fictional Characters That Deserve A Knuckle Sandwich".

so i fought the twins on hard mode and i'm surprised it wasn't that bad

the battle pretty much just comes down to praying you don't get critted and almost nothing else. by the time i finished making a persona for the fight i got it done on my first try

i would play it on merciless but considering i can't crit them and if i'm critted i lose anyways, it wouldn't make a difference

i only did it with Joker too because the party members are just kind of dead weight

Aight I finished the game, I'm just gonna spoiler everything down there since it's pretty much all actual major spoilers. If you're reading this and haven't played/finished it: go do it. Shoo.

While I can't say I'm too thrilled about fighting Ancient Evil Giant Who Wants To Control Mankind once again at the end & would have genuinely preferred staying relatively grounded/going after Shido's associates or something, I can't say I disliked the way any of it played out either. Genuinely loved that final battle, although I really wish the protag awakening ol' Perrsona Lagann was more than super scripted sequence. Having a couple turns of giant demons duking it out in the sky would have been awesome, although shooting Yaldabaoth in the face was f*** amazing.

I loved the Igor twist too. Legitimately thought I was going to end up going against all the Velvet Room had to throw at me and it was terrifying.

As for stuff that's not spoilers: I loved it, simply put. Great all around and I'm pretty sure it's my favorite game of all time, even if it isn't too difficult (on normal at least, dunno how much hard mode changes things)

hard mode hardly changes anything at all

a friend of mine wanted to try the game when i got it, i started on hard mode and let him play some, he had no problems

i lent him the game and it's his first-ever SMT game. playing on hard mode with no problems; if anything it's too easy
