On the subject of Luigi's Mansion, my "legitimately purchased Gamecube" is having trouble reading my "legal non-downloaded" copy of the original game, so I'm open to PM advice from anyone who knows their way around "definitely not an emulator."
Gotta keep within phpBB rules here, don'tcha know.

I don't know why. But I feel very distant from this game. It doesn't really grasp my attention that well. Although I love doing the Multiplayer. I can't pick a favorite from the three.

Am I the only one who's experiencing some glitches with the Strobulb and Dark Light? They were both fine for a while, but now their flashy effects keep not showing up all the way. For the Strobulb, I only see where the light hits the ground and none of the light above the ground. And the Dark light sometimes just makes a shadow in front of Luigi and loses the rainbow effect. Strange...
EDIT: Everything was fine 'til I got to the Kitchen in mission A-4.

I just checked Google and Youtube, but couldn't find anything like this. Other aesthetic things were off too, like the confetti that shoots out of the Poltergust 5000 when you complete a mission; instead of being multi-colored, the confetti is just red. I may just need to get another copy. le sigh... EDIT: I should mention that when I beat A-4 yesterday and came back to it today and just beat A-5, today it worked just fine during A-5. Hopefully it's just one of those one-time things.

Im on the third mission of the last mansion, Luigi just discovered Mario has been once again kidnapped by King Boo. The first thing I did was check the D-pad to see if Luigi now calls for Mario, and he does! Happy day.

Christ, we saw that Mario painting getting taken away by Boos back in the second mansion. Why are Luigi and E. Gadd so slow on the uptake?

haha that's a good point. I did like how we saw King Boo a couple times through out the game, some times in the bg of the stages.I just beat it. I really enjoyed it. Had a nice ending. Now I can play Resident Evil Revelations.
