I just had an idea that could prevent pretty much all accidental double posts.

If you try to post something that will make it a double post, it will bring up a page warning you that it is a double post and if this is anywhere but the spam section or freeing space in YOUR sprite gallery at the start you will get a warning, similar to the way you get a message when someone posts a message while you're composing yours.

Is this possible?

I think not. How would it tell if it was your gallery?

I don't know if it is possible, but usually a warning message appears (that another poster has posted something when I hit submit) when I hit submit, get d/c'd and then try to post again.

I meant for newbs that don't know the rules and don't know the severity of what they're doing.

You still can if you really want to! It just warns you, you could probably have it disabled if you want to.

Nah, sometimes double posts are necessary. While a pop-up warning would be nice I don't think it's a severe enough problem to need something like that. People should know better anyway
