It does look like you put a lot of effort into that, i appreciate the random gift Just so you know i do have a JUS styled glitch a few page back, if you were intested in seeing it. Some of it is animated but the only really decent animation i have of him is his side smash. Would that happen to be a saiya edit? (im not aware of how to spell his name) EDIT: [ Image ] Heres that animation i was talking about. | | | | |
The lower body could use some movement other than just pixel shifts.

Meh, it was an old project I don't plan on continuing, it seems I didn't edit the poses at all really. Anything on what I've done so far though? Would you say yay or nay to the more pointed sword?

More pointed would probably be easier to sprite so go for it.

Anything you noticed I need to fix before I attempt, major emphasis on attempt, to begin sheeting?

Yes that'd be the one. I'm sure there are flaws somewhere.

Well you need to work on the leg shading. Infact the shading in general, maybe some less faded colors and more bright contrasty colors n' stuff.

One thing you need is some sort of outline :/

I know from experience when first trying to sprite people, (which may not be the case with you, i dont know) that an outline does seem very warm and inviting. (I find this ironic because the first sprite i ever made had no outline... XP) I grew to have what seemed like half an outline when i was editing JUS, because not all things were outlined in black in that style. I then tried to sort of drop the outline by just adding a darker and lighter shade used strictly for outlining. I then evolved, so to speak, to no difinitive outline. If you notice, in real life, you do not have an outline. Shades just define the contours of your body. I myself now find outlines limiting for some reason. :/ i hope that cleared things up.

Okay so this is related to an old ongoing inside joke i have with my friends, and i couldt resist a little quick animation ive wanted to do forever. Its very simple, but i actually think this is the smoothest animation ive ever made, and im more proud of it than any other animation ive made. Its sad, yes XP but i love it. I dont plan on editing it since it was just for fun, so C+C isnt really necessary, but i would like to hear what you people have to say. : P : )

So I upped the luminosity, it turn out almost every color i have is a shade of blue... And I cant seem to make the colors brighter without making it look weird... Can anyone help make the palette brighter? :/
