One big problem with Mac is that it really DOESN'T have more features.
Let's say you want to organize a company you and some friends have started.
Your first option could be to buy a Mac, and use the versatile program that it comes with.
That's fine, but wouldn't it be better to get a program that is MADE for the type of company that you have?
You could, with a Windows, do a quick search online, and get about 5+ shareware products that are fully functional, and are FREE, or cost barely anything.

I've owned both a Mac and many PCs, I have to say Windows has always been more convienent for me. The GUI I won't criticize since I started with Windows first, and I'm sure I would have found the Mac more convienent if I started with it instead. But other things, like the inability to run high-end games like Crysis are another factor. Also as a budding computer scientist, I find it much easier to poke and prod around the insides of Windows. As for viruses, yes windows can get terribly infected if you are an idiot. But surf smart on the net and for god sakes, if that person has never sent you e-mail before, be suspicious of it, and you should get almost next to no viruses, as I have been doing for the past 7 years. About pricing, Macs are inarguably more exspensive. Give me any Mac and I can build you a cheaper PC with the same specs.
In the end, I think of Macs and PCs like this: A Mac is like a shiny kid's tricycle, it's easy to use, looks nice, and you won't get hurt, but it's capabilities are limited. A PC is like a motorcycle, you can customize it and do a hell of a lot more with it. It may take more experience and you could get hurt along the way, but in the end it's a more enjoyable ride.
