Well it's a pretty decent gap between june and october, and even when they close the ballot it's gonna be another 2 months until they can show off ballot characters, I think they've probably got more dlc ideas for after june as well at this point.

Well I mean Rayman was already in Smash as a trophy so they are probably on a somewhat positive note with Ubisoft, not to mention Rayman isn't console exclusive. After Microsoft bought Rare Banjo became an XBox exclusive character.

It's up to what they want to do really. If the head of xbox says he'd like to see it happen, then I'm sure they'd wouldn't have issues actually making it happen.

I would also like to see Conkers as DLC along Banjo & Kazooie.

Okay but let's assume that you are the head of XBox. You have several characters that you want t brand as your console exclusive mascots. Will you do that by including them in games made by a rival company that caters towards an almost entirely different target audience?

I do think it'd be a tough sell to the rest of the Xbox guys, shareholders, what have you. There's no promotion to be had to selling him to a different audience so the $$ to pay is a big concern I'd imagine

That said I don't know what it's like to run a huge corporation
