for chandelure it's just too much. also,when i played Pokemon black for the first time i got really dissapointed of reshiram.I tought it was more cool.

Dont get me wrong poison is one of my favorite types because it's very useful defensively. It just needs to become more useful offensively _________________

Chandelure has poor attack, so giving it a move like quick attack would be a bad idea (unless it was special).
Also, Poison types need to be super effective against more things.

Yeah I said it'd be special. And maybe Poision could be super effective against Fairy? Or maybe even Normal? Or it could go back to being strong against Bug.

Amen. Hey zapp do you play pokemon competitively? If so what gen @Goombario: Poison types being super effective against bug types were the only thing taken out after gen 1 that made sense _________________

That kind of contradicts it being defensive, though. Poison is meant to be a defensive type, hence why Toxic is so useful used defensively.

That is true but steel resists 11 types (maybe 12 in the near future), and is immune to one type completely. Even then its still super effective against two types at least _________________

They're both defensive in different ways. Steel is resistant to most, but it can easily be penetrated with the most common offensive types: fire, fighting, and ground. Also, poison, while a defensive type, mainly focuses on status effects and stat changes. Whereas steel is more of a type designed for stalling and being an impenetrable wall.
