SSF2 Suggestions

Quick suggestion: A competitive mode in Vs. Mode that already has all the rules of a competitive match set up. Just for competitive players. Also, if this could be added, I feel as if the lvl 9 CPUs in that mode should act harder to fight than the lvl 9 CPUs in a typical vs. match. They should probably try to combo more too. All just to make competitive players work harder at bettering themselves.

I don't think it should go THAT far, but little things that ease competitive setup like a stage striking feature might be nice.

My Suggestions:
Lloyd's Tiger Blade to return to pre-v0.6, so he can actually recover.
Maybe Yoshi could tether with his tongue. (I think he can do that in SSB64).
Also, for Ichigo, either decrease his falling speed or increase the vertical height of Up-Special, because his recovery sucks.
I think that Link should be further mixed with Toon Link from Brawl, we need to make him good.


Also, I agree with most of the resprites.

Swimming. Definitely. Getting KO-ed because you landed in the ocean (Gangplank Galleon) and couldn't resurface?That doesn't really seem right. Also, I feel the level 9 CPUs aren't making me work hard enough for a win.

The game needs some fixing when it comes to the CPU. It's noticable they have hard times functioning in stages like Silph Co., Emerald Cave, Twilight Town. Just some things I observed overrall from them. Also I hope that the CPU can get alot more harder. it's fun when you have difficulty in the game :nod:

Sora could use a slight touchup on his sprites, and I think it might be cool to add one of his throws involving the fire spell, since both Thunder and Blizzard are used. I aslo think Silph Co. needs to be slowed down, and the airshop to be slightly bigger. Sonic and Tails could use either custom sprites or a touchup, and of course, Lloyd and Peach need resprites desperately. Mega Man as well, to match his Smash 4 counterpart.

Improved training mode:
-Set markers where a computer respawns.
-Remove invincibility respawn. (Seriously, my training dummy doesn't need to be protected...or does he? ;))
-"Ledge Grab" CPU. (CPU that constantly runs for the ledge.)
-Make Reset save the set Cpu Damage or create a Respawn button.

All these tie into me wanting more control over what I'm training on or studying. This would even be an improvement for the Smash Bros series Training Mode.

I asked about this in the q/a thread, but the old, pre-v0.9 theme song seems like it's being wasted right now.

If there's no plans for its use right now, maybe it could play on Final Destination to match Battlefield's original track. I know people have been asking FD to have original music for a while, so if you decide to do that, this track is certainly an option.

A screen that shows every room online would be nice. Then you'd just apply the filter and find more specific results.

I feel like it wouldn't be a Smash game without that, IMO. So I would like that too.

With Sandbag now added to the game (via Waiting Room, btw awesome design whoever made it), could Home-Run Contest make it to SSF2?
