I'm just a Smash 4 fanboy, it's one of those "You said something and later regret it" moments. SSF2 is a good game, I enjoyed it, I really do. It's just that, I'm just annoyed with "SSF2 being mostly based on Brawl" kind of thing, well I have to deal with it. I don't want to start trouble, and I have been jumped by different fanboys just because I like Smash 4 the most. Now look how I'm complaining about SSF2.... so that's my deal

well i mean what you said didn't follow logically at all
of course ssf2 takes its cues from brawl, smash 4 didnt come out until ssf2 had been in development for seven or eight years
but w/e ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hmmm its just you went over board about SSF2 being based off of Brawl argument, some people want it to be more like Melee. I am fine that SSF2 is the combination of all the games. I am fine with the Brawl effects and sound clips, remember most of Brawl's veterans had retained their voice clips from Brawl which I think are the best in the series. SSF1 was based on Melee with SSF2 being created before Brawl and then when it came out, SSF2 added a lot of its elements which made since due to Brawl being new at the time. Smash 4 came out months after v0.9b was released which makes since why some smash 4 material is just being added or some coincidences happened between smash 4 and SSF2.

"Smash 4 Fox's voice sounds so whiny tho" "Smash 4 Fox's voice fits him better" "Brawl Fox says Landmaster better" "Smash 4 Fox yells weird when he gets screen KO'ed" I like Smash 4 Sonic and Fox's voices better tbh

Why is this in the Falco thread: show Either that or because SSF1 was based on Melee, and when SSF2 started development Brawl was the most recent thing (And I don't even think it was out yet) so SSF2 wanted to get close to that, and then Development of SSF2 lead it straying further off and becoming it's own thing Just a thought DK uses Smash 64 sound effects on his Down B, among other cases where Melee/64 SFX are used 1 sin off for knowing the actual name of the move. Only 1, though. Don't get hasty. Probably because a lot of people like Sonic's voice from that era as opposed to Roger Craig Smith I mean why do you think all those voice mods for Sonic Generations exist That part was true. Emphasis on was. But they're the same moveset The only real difference is that in Smash 4 there's more dropkicks I don't really know why they were changed to dropkicks, either Yeah, it looks really cool seeing Bowser do a drop kick But I always thought he was a more Punching oriented fellow That's a good reason. That's subjective. I mean, even when looking at tier lists of both, that's completely subjective Like what if I prefer Smash 4 over Brawl just because he has a different walk cycle What if that makes him "better" in my eyes Y'know? Oh-- What's that? , , , , and are getting updated with some Smash 4 tools? Well isn't that fortuitous I mean if it's 80% Brawl it's atleast 60% Smash 4 at the same time I know the difference can seem like Night and Day, but they're pretty similar games If anything I'd say SSF2 0.9b is more Smash 4 than it is Brawl, and 0.9b released before Smash 3DS did It's strange Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulll s*** Adding an equivelant of "jk lol" at the end of a rant Isn't a good idea I mean, I prefer the air too, thanks Fox's Star Fox 64 voice = Good stuff Fox's Smash Bros. 64, Melee & Brawl Voice = Good stuff Fox's Star Fox Zero voice = Great stuff right there, wowzers Smash 4 Fox = Bad. Atleast in comparison. Reminds me of OVA Sonic. You can just hear the "SHADDUP, TAILS" from a mile away. I do like Smash 4 Falco's voice, though. It's nice. Not my favorite of the Space Bird's vocals But it's nice.

I prefer Brawl Sonic, Fox and Falco voice clips.
Falco smash 4 voice clips are alright for me, but his Melee voice makes him sound to old.

Falco does sound weird in Melee, but he's a good character, Brawl slightly nerfed him and Smash 4 nerfed him badly... especially his down air. Well I'm done with this thread, I'll see you all some other time

We know, we were talking about voice clips, not how good his character was. We keep changing topics this way. Smash 4 destroyed his neutral, but improved his KO potential, recovery and combo game from Brawl.
