Of course I will give them this, they do occasionally have intelligent conversation. For maybe, 1 to 3 posts. Then everyone goes off-topic.

I think this is a GREAT idea.
1. People make retarded topics in Spam (XXX#@$UNCENSOREDBEWBS...)
2. People go extremely off topic.
3. They quadruple post (namely Sayo).
4. Some may have good grammar, but others don't.
5. No more "HAHA, made you look" topics.
6. And the list goes on...

No. You think that this would be better then spam because you'd actually be in it.

If this were to actually follow through, I have no doubt that it would basically become spam for the retards who aren't allowed in otherwise.

Well since it would be in the other section, it wouldn't be as bad as forum games/ssf2 sections, but not as good as most of the others.
Well I won't argue it any further, I guess if most people don't like it then it won't fly. Especially since Greg said "this."
But I don't think it is a good idea because it will have me in it, if I were in spam it'd be like hell for everyone else.
Anyway, another thing I will say is: It's not spam. If people spam, they get in trouble because, well; it's not spam section and rules are still enforced. And you don't post things like "I just did this, what should I do now?" Because that's basically spamming. It's just a place to kinda let out your feelings and let off some steam. A place to converse intelligently. Just like a chat box basically, but more complex at the same time because you can't post random s*** and you can't just talk about anything.
So yeah, degrade it if you wish, but it's just a chat box with forum rules enforced.
If I don't get approvals I'll just lock, there's really no point fighting for it after this.

That sounds really... Specific. With that many rules, it ruins the point of having an open discussion to discuss real life.
I think this should be used as an in between for Spam and Other. In the sense that, if you post "Check out my new avi" in Other, it'll be locked, but if you post it in Spam, no one will take you seriously.
