I just realized- What stage is that? It doesn't look familiar, but it does look fantastic. I'm a sucker for stained glass

The best view we've seen of it is in Palutena's trailer, during JUMP GLIDE
He still hasn't properly introduced it

Just watched it again, it's actually the Rocket Jump part. But yeah, it's the best we have seen of it yet.

I've been thinking, does anyone else think Jigglypuff (when confirmed) would incorporate traits regarding its half fairy-type?

Not really a whole lot to incorporate. Unless Greninja explicitly takes extra damage from Jiggs' attacks, I don't see that happening.

x and y hadn't come out before smash was in development it already has one of the cover legendaries, both SSB3DS and Wii U have a stage for X and Y (why couldn't we have something from Battle Revolution or maybe something from another Pokemon game?), and something to represent every starter from it. three of our four playable pokemon right now have something exclusive to x and y (two megas, one is a pokemon straight from there) we have what, five other gens to pick from? come on, gen 3 or gen 4 or something. not 6 anymore, please.

Well I think that's mainly because it is most recently released non spin-off Pokémon game and all the Smash Bros. games have done that. The original Smash Bros. had big influence from Pokémon Red and Blue [Green] (because it was the only one at the time, duh!), Melee enjoyed a bunch from Pokémon Gold and Silver (still a bit more from Pokémon Red and Blue [Green] on that game, though]) and Brawl included lots of stuff from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl (more than Pokémon Ruby and Saphire), so it makes sense for Pokémon X and Y to take a lot of influence in 3DS/Wii U and still, Pokémon Black [2] and White [2] are not not left behind, there's a stage based on those games on the 3DS version. I enjoy playing with Jigglypuff (the Pokémon I played the most with BTW) but it was a huge let down it was s*** in Brawl. Considering the buffs some characters are getting I actually saw Jigglypuff dual type as a fairy as a great chance to improve and/or modificate certain attributes for it, so it no longer sucks.

I think all of the pokemon games build off of each other So it makes much sense that they are pushing the most recent installment of pokemon.
Its like Nintendo advertising smash brothers 4 instead of brawl, melee, and 64 because smash 4 is the most recent installment of the series itself.
