The sad part is, they're all real.
The reason that there's no originality is that people like the same thing. There are some exceptions, but people will like what's comfortable and familiar. Movie studios (and, well, everyone) know this, so they basically remake old stories with new packaging. And the people eat it up.

Actually, these guys were hoping that people would pick up those movies in place of the real ones bu accident. It worked, too. They keep making these things.

Actually, I remember when my grandpa rented "Transmorphers". I almost cracked up at how blatant of a ripoff it was.

They're not copying anyone. It's all compleeeeeeeeetely original.

LOL. I'm glad that LizardTesticle Revolution hasn't been done yet...

Or Eragon. (Pronounced Eee-Rah-Gun, and spelled with a capital "E", making it completely different from "eragon")

*Gets an idea...*

That Hidden Fortress movie inspired A New Hope, as said by Lucas himself.

And if anyone else noticed, The GI Joe movie reminds me of Return of the Jedi so much.

Sorry. Hey, had anybody ever seen a fantasy (not sci-fi) film that DIDN'T rip off LOTR?

Yes. The Princess Bride.

Along with all of the other ones that came out before LOTR.

No, that was based off of Braveheart.

Which was, in turn, based off Star Trek.

Heh, sorry, didn't think of that one. I saw it, but it came out before I was born, so it wasn't quite the first thing on my mind.
