So looking back, I never really made an "arrival topic" when I first joined this forum. just thought that was funny since now I'm writing a "departure topic" lol.

Never thought I'd be leaving this community when I really got into, but these things called "progression" and "life" have become more prevalent and have taken command for the better. Recently I've come to the realization that I need to focus more on things outside of the world of relaxing hobbies such as the one I'm on this forum for. some people might've noticed (or not idc lol) that my post activity and community involvement here have dropped significantly over the past year-ish, so that's why.

SSF2 and the community in general have definitely made me better at focusing on things that I love to do while being a part of the developer team has taught me techniques and life-lessons that will definitely help me more in the future as time goes on. but yea, getting to the main point: I'm writing this post because I am leaving and (sadly) do not have any known plans of coming back at any time in the future.
There are a lot of people on here that I've had the pleasure of meeting or becoming great friends with. Seriously, it doesn't matter if you hated me, liked me, fantasized about me, didn't notice me, whatever; I payed attention to nearly everyone in the community (sometimes secretly), so I'd like to think that I've either impacted you in some kind of way or you've impacted me in some kind of way. I'm not going to make any individual good-byes since I feel like the list would be either lengthy or I'd offend some people for not including them lol. I'm just going to say thanks to all the old users here, you were all great people to talk to and had great insights about things I never even would've thought of talking about. being on the forums with y'all was probably the only thing keeping me here over the past year. And to all you new kids (anyone who joined in 2014/2015), it was nice meeting you. I probably haven't said a word to some of you in a topic post or even in a chat room, but I'm sure you'll turn out to be great people as time goes on.

anyway, I think this post has been a read that's longer than it deserves to be. to anyone that is able to contact me, don't be afraid to shoot me a message or something whenever you feel like it (especially those of you who are very close to me). maybe we could get together and play a game or two of whatever some time in the future haha.
