My name is Jim. I joined near the beginning of Greg's original site, but you older users probably wouldn't remember me. I never posted nor stood out. Then why am I finally coming back? Well, to tell the truth, I'm not. I'm only posting to give my thoughts on the place.

Greg, after many years of observing you, I've learned one thing: You're a pushover. You're lucky a guy like Jonas is the only one taking advantage of this impairment. At least he prevents the extremely stupid ones from entering the hallowed ground.

Your other moderators are challenged, save a few. Recently, the quality of those chosen has risen, however there is still much room for improvement. Notable ones are Thaiberium, Nini, Kiki, and Blue Mage. Don't drive them away, I beg you.

Lastly, I would like to give my regards to Belthazar and Sayonara. I once spoke to you two and you seemed very intelligent. Sayo, you may be a bit of a joker, but I can see past your outer shell. Belth, I do enjoy your company, though you may not find me as amusing anymore.

Well, I've met you but you've never met me. I was there when you gained administrator status, too. I've always wanted to say something to you, but didn't want to break my creed of never posting. Finally, we can hold a conversation. However, I am at a loss for words. Ironic, my chance to speak with you comes, yet I cannot think of anything to say. As is life, squandered so.

Interesting.. You come over as intelligent, but if you've truly lurked as long as you claim to have, you'll understand my distrust about this whole situation. Though, for the moment, I'm more interested in why. Why McleodGaming? Why a small, insignificant forum with a low number of active members and an even lower average IQ?

It's not so much the main populous, but a few select members. You, among others, are amusing to view on a daily basis. The conflicting nature of the activities you participate in are interesting and mind-boggling. You see, I've discovered that the reason you stay here is not boredom, but more a primal instinct. Power is what the intelligent individuals here desire, gaining this from a mostly incompetent site owner and low IQ member accumulation. Here, you're a deity. You have control over everything that goes on, yet merely having that kind of substance satisfies you, leaving nothing more than sarcasm and cynicism. It's fun, in a way, to spy on you all and evaluate your performances.

You're an interesting fellow, Jim. Were you in my sociology class last week, by any chance?

I won't deny that I like the power, and that it is a large part of the reason why I'm here today, but there's a lot of on the side benefits. See, SSF2 will one day come out, and my interest lies in how Cleod's way of running things will cope with the things that follow. I'm thinking, in particular, of the sudden rush of new members that will flood the forums.

Next to that, this forum features a lot of Nintendo fans, without actually getting you into trouble for saying Nintendo is anything but the 'best gaming company alive'. See, these fans in particular, I find interesting, because they'll buy anything with 'Mario' or 'Zelda' in it. Not just that, they'll defend it until death, thinking up ways to excuse every flaw the game exposes.

Call me a scientist, if you're willing to violate the word in such a manner.
