MK for some reason has awful defensive options. His tech rolls are absolute garbage, his rolls aren't very good, and I don't think his spot dodge or airdodge are particularly impressive. Still a great char, but fairly susceptible to tech chasing.

Yeah, and this is the main reason why i've been getting rekted by  and  lately. Like i'm still learning MUs, but those things you just listed are things I can't rarely ever do against them.

mk is top 10, dosent suck but has a few major weaknesses his ground game being pretty laggy, buffer killing him all the times and him not being able to deal with high tiers that have projectiles this was said from mew2ube in discord which I agree with ^^^^ But, if he was to be able to up air string more better, i'd never complain again (unless ofc they nerfed him else where which I don't think he needs to be, but that's just me). Also figured out for some reason, his N-air isn't disjointed, so if anyone is being bother thinking why characters like  's dash attack or grab beats it, that's why I guess. Also 1 more thing I wanna say is, idk if this is port prioity or not, but it seems like every time I try to grab someone especially when i'm trying to grab  or  , they seem to always grab me INSTEAD, but it just feels to me like almost every character I face with MK, their grabs beats his (no i'm not to far away when I did these grabs, other wise I wouldn't ask tbh). Again idk if this is a port priority thing, but as others in a discord said, if it is, I think that port thing needs to go. Just my opinion, no need for hate.

Yeah but t everyone even heavies (or is it fast fallers?) fall out easily (or it's cause they can't really finish with the up b, but probably has something to do with the height loss on the last 2 jumps he has), which is why I guess everyone else says doing up air strings is near impossible. Edit: Even if they somehow made MK able to do an up air string better (I just heard the up air hit boxes is wierd so that could be why and or maybe the height lost on his last 2 jumps?), I still think it should be a little hard to do but not near impossible (wouldn't it be hard to still do on fast fallers and floaties anyways?). if that makes sense.. lol.

Terrible suggestion? it actually isn't if you think about it, and I HOPE Tson can maybe at-least think about this for a bit.
I think this should be a combo that can at-least be done to someone 45-55% or past (cause in smash 4 i heard it was broken that it was doable at like 35% or something like that).
It's even looks to me like a very cool and hype combo people would like to see imo, and it is another cool way to take a stock instead of doing a meteor move (which he doesn't have).
I think this would help him a lot, also other characters have combos that can 0 to death too right?
Either way tho, i'm not suggesting this to be a near 0 to death combo (which it isn't for this idea).
and like raven said, he is kinda under powered (if you don't include edge guarding).
Edit: If his ground game becomes less laggy (and better tech roll?), then maybe we wont need this combo buffed, and it isn't needed right now I guess for 0.4. But this is still something that could be useful later in the future after everyone has been buffed a lot to where they are viable in competative, but if MK might still need something, this could help.

Isn't this combo hard to pull off tho? (in smash 4, not pre-patch). I think the only thing holding him back from this combo killing is his 4th jump height lost (I think).

What if we had 9b drill rush back?
Someone in the dreamland discord the 9b drill rush wasn't broken and is better than the current one mostly because the current one bounces so far back (which I honestly don't mind for some reasons).
I'm not too sure what 9b drill rush looked like, but idk if it is something possible to get back in beta?

I guess MK feels like he is lacking something, to back up darkinorex's point. He's also well-balanced, so I'm hesitant to add without taking away, but I definitely think he lacks the sort of "cool factor" that other characters have. The craziest idea I had would be Brawl Minus's meteor dair, coupled with significant nerfs in other things to compensate.
