I think the only redeeming quality about Sticker Star is its soundtrack. Pretty much every track is awesome, and suits the game very well. Which is something that all the Paper Mario games did (even Super). Thats about the only thing i still like about it though.

The aesthetic overall is very very good. It's an incredibly pretty game especially in 3D, and like you said the music is fantastic.

It is not a horrible game by any means. It is still fun and it still has the paper Mario charm. You'll just be disappointed if you're expecting another thousand year door.

I can't really judge all 4 Paper Mario games (mainly because I've only played TYD and SPM), but I felt that Thousand Year Door was the best one out of all 4, IMO.

So I got SS for Christmas. I really don't know what to think of it. They went back to the turn based battle system which is nice, but there's really no point to battling at all. No experience, no partners, it just seems kinda lazy. I honestly might have preferred it to be Super Paper Mario style instead of going back to turn based without the RPG. I also don't like the stickers being put into battles, it limits what you can and can't do. Idk... I want to enjoy this, but it's just so meh

I just got to the Final Boss in Sticker Star, its pretty hard. Kinda like the Final Boss in TYD, but it seems harder to me, simply because you have to have a way to hit for big damage, otherwise the battle goes on for too long.

I find that SPM is really bad.
I got PMSS and I like it, but I find Battling really purposeless.
Although everything else is pretty great.

He's right though, you don't really gain anything from fighting. If a fight is avoidable, (most of them are) I avoid it. I guess if you want to complete the sticker museum you have incentive to fight enemies that drop weapon stickers that you can't get any other way. _________________ 3DS FC: 1633-4280-9596
