Please leave the character selection stage if there are 2 players already in the room (you can tell because when you join and look t the bottom left, 3 or 4 names will show up). Also don't automatically leave when there are more than 3 players if you are the host unless they will not leave. Thank you.

Also what ive noticed which really bugs me is when i'm playing a 3 or 4 man free for all, there is usually someone who goes out first (in stocks) and then disconnects, when me and my opponent were having a good game. That's why i usually steer clear of Free for alls.
