If you guys like lots of speed with less platforming (there still is some, just a lot less), get the 3DS version. It has Online Multiplayer, but less levels. It moves at a faster pace though.

Sonic Generations' ability to change the music on any stage was a stroke of genius. I personally hope to use Live and Learn on the Final Boss, The E.G.G.M.A.N on Egg Dragoon, Perfect Chaos unchanged, and What I'm Made Of on Death Egg Robo and Metal Sonic.
