What did you guys think of the first episode? I thought it was amazing, lots of people said it was too confusing but I could understand it. (Then again, I could easily follow Inception)

I had a thought, The Doctor died in the first episode. Well, there was a shot in the teaser of Rory in the old "Tennant" TARDIS witnessing what looks like a regeneration, it may be possible he captures some regeneration energy and uses it to revive the Doctor? Whether this is right or not remains to be seen, but if it is then this may mean a new Doctor, and with Amy pregnant this may mean another complete cast change.

I hope they link this new Torchwood season with season 6.

Last season of Torchwood the Doctor was mentioned but it's never enough...

I mean he showed up in Sarah Jane Adventures, why not Torchwood?

I honestly don't know how people have trouble following it. It's very simple if you remember to look at it from both character's perspectives.

If the Make Shift TARDIS from "The Lodger" is still in Florida, it's entirely possible. They already have had a crossover, Gwen and Ianto were in the series 4 finalé of DW. With the series gap between Spring and Autumn they will have time to show the new Torchwood and set up the crossover, if not just to introduce the characters enough to have a crossover.

Exactly, it seems to be calling for it, problem is that it may be difficult to tone them down enough for a crossover, I mean if The Doctor did enter Torchwood, what would he think about them?

And I don't just mean them, I mean their world in general. Think about it, The Doctor arrives and has to face an army of Weevils, slaughtering innocents in cold blood. It wouldn't fit. Plus the new series is a miniseries like Children of Earth, he can't really only be on there for one episode.

CoE was on once a day for 5 days in a row, this is going to be 10 episodes spread out.

Oh yeah xD, I haven't seen CoE yet, I'll have it through the post any day now though. I knew he died though.

And I meant it's like CoE because although it's a 10 episode series it'll all be part of the same plot. Miracle Day, a day where human's cannot die, Torchwood have to discover what's going on.
