I think it's pretty bad that an announcement of an announcement was the most exciting part of that Direct for me.

That doesn't mean somebody shouldn't be excited as hell for the new installments. 3D marios never fail to be some of the most memorable games of all time, and I for one cannot WAIT until E3 to see what direction they take them in lol.
