Serene slapped herself. "Idiot, don't think about that..." she muttered to herself, then turning to see the dragon approach her at full speed. It looked ready for a meal. Serene looked into it's eyes, she made her decision. "Black King!" she shouted, catching the dark Pegasus' attention. "We're going to hit that dragon. Head On." Her gaze never left the dragon's pupils. She felt the beating of her heart, moving ever so rapidly...she felt alive He opened his eyes bewildered at her orders. Was she insane? He decided it was their only true hope, they'd die if they ran and not moving would finish them off faster. He followed her insane order, and launched himself forward, lowering his head for the last and final ramming. Serene let go of the Pegasus' reigns, and held her arms in the air, feeling the rush of wind as Black King accelerated more and more. "This is it...this is for you...mother..."
J marked the page in his novel. 43, a lucky number in his terms. Of course, every page number in a romance novel was lucky to him. He put the book away, back in the cozy spot in the side of his pants, and he retied the cloth that he used as a makeshift belt so that his precious book wouldn't fall out when he was walking. He sat away from the rest of the group, unconcerned about being near the fire or not. Fire was trivial to him, a wild man of the land. Why would he need something as unnecessary as a fire? It would just make him feel like less of a man, and why become less of what he already was? He pondered these points for a bit, and then lied himself against the rock, planning to nod off for tonight.

Barbas looked at Violet. "Well, I think he knows his place. If he tries anything funny, an arrow to the neck will certainly shut him up." He looked back at Leon, noting the items he had taken from Kevin. "The archer's arrows. " He thought for a moment, before speaking again. "Toss them here. Then, you can be on your way. I prefer to travel alone. You two an go off together, or by yourselves. Doesn't really matter to me."

OOC: Belth, Charisma, kk.
"I did not plan to kill this man." Leon stated firmly. "You dare accuse me of that wench! He just killed two of my traveling companions." He crossed his arms and stared at Violet with a glare.
"Though i didn't care for one and the other basically abandoned me."
He then turned to Barbas.
"Those arrows are going to cost you i'm afraid, you killed two of my compatriots, though one had it coming for throwing the bomb. Point is, i'm the only one left."
Eton saw the dragon and reacted as quickly as he could, he needed to do something he rushed the dragon and attempted to climb on if he could, as he ran at the dragon who sped by, he lept. He went to grab on, but barely did, he clung on only by one hand, nearly falling off. He sighed with relief and began to climb the berserking fiend. As the dragon rushed, it sped up more and opened it's mouth wide, intending to eat either steed or rider. When Serene went to ram, the dragon used his weight against the steed and then went to bite. When Black King got rammed, it knocked Serene up and into the dragon's jaws, he clamped on just as he did Tania and then stopped and turned to the group, holding the women in his fangs, and began to press down.

She stood up on the branch that she had landed on and stretched preparing to leap to another tree "Oh hush vagabond," said Violet playfully "You keep bad company, so what have I to expect that you are bad company yourself" she idly twirled her hair around her finger then turned her attention to Barbas "And you, I helped you and I do not even receive a thank you? Bad show, bad show, I know your mother raised you much better than that. Anyways I will rid myself of both your ill temperaments and fly to where the wind blows me next. Good Night, sweet villains" She went around to the other side of the trunk without waiting for their response, she scrambled higher up the tree then leapt to the next tree and the one afterwards.

Barbas raised his eyebrow. "cost me?" He questioned. He reached for his bow, sighing. "And here I thought we understood each other. Apparently, giving you your life isn't enough to get some arrows. So maybe taking it be." He narrows his eyes as he stared at Leon. "Last chance." all the while ignoring Violet as if she wasn't there.
Charisma took the tomb, as she turned to J. "Thank you." She said gratefully. "I'm not sure if I can do it..." said Charisma to Julius. "I can barely get a wind spell to work and I've been practicing that for a long time." She wasn't confident in her abilities as a mage, and it didn't seem like she ever would be. "But.. I can try.. If you really want."

From the force of the dragon throwing him, Zesper smashed through a display window of a nearby ruined building. The momentum carried him though to the back of the house, where he then collided with an unstable wall, causing the building to shake. As he lay there in his own little personal world of hurt, wooden planks and stones from the walls and ceiling started to fall to the ground, and pelted him. The now unstable house started to shake violently, then with a loud groan, came crashing down all around him, and on top of him. Zesper struggled to get up, but the weight of the slabs of rock and planks of wood, combined with the extent of his injuries kept him down. It was a pitiful sight, a severely injured man trapped underneath a pile of rubble. " What a way to go... and by the looks of things, they will have a tough time finding my body..." Zesper thought grimly o himself. And then, with a groan, closed his eyes and blacked out.
OOC: He’s not dead, just knocked out.

Serene felt the teeth dig into her body. She tried to move her head to look around, but felt an intense pain. Resorting to using her eyes to look around, she was able to get a small glimpse of where she was. "It's mouth...normally I'd be disgusted, but I strangely feel relieved." As the teeth clamped down harder, Serene winced. She wasn't sure she'd make it through this encounter, and accepted it as inevitable. She let out a small smile on her face.
J was half asleep, but heard the woman thank him. He didn't feel like waking up and moving to join their group. He didn't feel attached to them at all, once he took them to the next town, he was collecting his pay, getting his "shipment", and moving on. "Enjoy your lucky for now..." he muttered.

"It's not much." Leon said and approached picking his blade up and sheathing it. "You killed my group off, something we do in case theres something like demons running about, kinda like that town." Leon gave a grin. "Let me travel with you and the bard girl. A fair trade right, after all, why risk a fight you may lose, not saying you will, besides, i need a traveling companion."
"You got that spell working enough to stop both of us from becoming wyvern meat." Julius said. "I beleive in you." He looked at Jay who was half asleep and then Alice who had remained silent through the conversastion and back at Charisma. "Want to test out the tome, get a fire going?"

"No." Barbas stated simply. "I will not travel with either of you." Barbas began. "Looking after others isn't my thing. people become burdens, and I wouldn't leave someone behind. By having others travel with you, you risk death. I will not risk death." He pulled back on his bow, a single arrow placed. "I should just end you now. Last time I let someone live I ended up with a gash in my leg."

Lex had sneaked up behind the tree that Violet was perched in. "I see you, missy." He hid from Barbas's sight, but didn't think the bard was much of a problem. "And you attacked us, first! You killed our friend, therefore I think throwing a bomb is a reasonable counter. Plus, you ruined my book! I wasn't finished with it.." He slumped behind the tree and poked at the torn pages. "I won't ask for anything in return, just a simple apology. Also..." He jumped up onto a branch and peered at Violet. The light from the growing fire illuminated her face, the soft glow of it deepening her beauty. Coupled with the moonlight, it was as if she were a seraphic charm sent from the heavens themselves. He blushed and spoke "A-and.. that wasn't very nice of you to help him try to kill us. You don't look evil, though... of course, the devil comes in many forms... which is your alliance, milady?" He did his best awkward bow whilst still balancing on the branch and keeping away from Barbas.

She was surprised at the man sharing the similar limberness as herself. "I ally myself with neither sides, for both are stained with the mark of innocent bloodshed" she said poetically. "Oh that's a good one" She took a small notepad from her bag and slid out the pen that was attached to it, she quickly wrote down the words before they faded from her memory. "There" She smiled at the man then took her lute from her bag, she strummed it once. "My name is Violet" she strummed it again "Who may I ask are you? Acrobatic one." she asked dramatically.

"Violet... a fitting name for a beauty such as yourself. A very calming and peaceful one, however mischievous and deceitful. Very nice... my name is Lexington Borne Serif but you, milady, may address me as Lex." He struck a relaxed pose completely still for about three seconds, before almost losing his balance once again. "Aha! Well, the acrobatic arts may not be my forte, I'm not bad at it. As a swordsman, I must keep my footing perfect and my mind set. It's not so different with climbing things." He straightened himself out again, wobbling only slightly. He seemed content with this new position and cemented it. "There we are... well now, so you're a wandering bard? I say this because you don't seem to trust either side of villainy, that being good and evil. You see, I'm the same way. I've been through many a fight and encountered stress and indignity on both sides of the equation. It seems none of them can be trusted, especially when they try to conceal their wrongdoings with mindless crusades and meaningless good fights. I understand where you're coming from, entirely." He smiled at her, a real smile. It was strange, this was one of the few times he had ever felt at ease enough to let an authentic smile out.

"Arn't you something else, probably started s*** with the last person, and he ended up fightin. Just admit it, you like to kill don't you? You just like justification, only reason you didn't kill me was because I gave in." he took a cigarette and lit it, and began to smoke. "So tell me, why let the bard follow. Why don't you just kill her as well? Because she's of use to you, or because you just can't bring yourself to kill a woman?"
He took a step forward and stopped and turned his head to hear some rucuss and some conversastion.
"Seems you left a friend of mine alive." Leon said calmly. "You going to kill him too because of the bomb or because he looked at you the wrong way?"

Violet felt uneasy that the man on the ground had mentioned her to the intriguing killer. "Oh do not bring me into your squabble" she said down to the man. "I have paid the debt to which I owed him" she gasped "Oh that's a good line as well" she scribbled down the phrase in her note pad and underlined it. She then resumed her attention to the charming man, whom she was speaking to earlier. "I completely agree with, all theses people constantly saying I am right and they are wrong. It all results in pointless deaths and tears. This is why I prefer to live as the spirits do and float wherever the wind takes me" She flourished her arms to emphasize what she said.

Lex was amazed at her flexibility and agile footwork. "I see... you and I think alike. I try not to sway my judgment to either of them. I loot when appropriate and kill when necessary. Like that town I was just in. I wanted to raid the pub because it was apparent that no one was going to use it, anymore. They were all dead, why let those provisions go to waste? It could provide ample amounts of energy and entertainment to those who would need it more. In this case, a traveling swordsmen like myself." He shifted his weight on the branch, mimicking the bard's graceful movements as best he could. He was surprised that he had not fallen off; apparently, the training he had gone through was paying off.
"So, I assume you also have no real place to go, am I correct? Perhaps the gorgeous lady would like to accompany me? You see, my partner is incredibly dull and loathsome. He never likes to have a good time. It's always Be on you're guard! day in and day out. I would find it rather saddening to leave you like this, abandoned with such a cruel man as that. I assure you, I am no cur. I know how to treat a comely butterfly. And you're rather cute, I might add..." He winked at her, his silvery hair swaying in the breeze slightly. It was strange to him, he had never tried so hard to impress the opposite sex, before. He hopped over onto her limb and held out a pristine lilac. "For you, milady. I found it near the tree over there where that brute shot me..." He rubbed his chest and sighed.
