Ganondorf is a fairly popular character, being since melee and all, i think the devs will add him later in the game, as a unlockable of course.
However, Dedede is sadly not as popular as Ganondorf, so the devs can cut him from the game if they wanted to, but some players will miss him ( including me)

I honestly think DDD will be a better fit, after all Ganondorf is a near clone of Cap'n Falcon anyway.

I chuckle every time somebody requests or demands Dedede to be put in the game, when devs have already made it 100% bigger characters take a lot more time and effort to sprite, lol
