Seriously, what and how the heck?

Wario's dair has autocancel frames right at the beginning. If you drop through the platform and dair immediately, you can usually land on the platform you dropped off because of the stalling effect of Wario's dair. Then you can repeat it really fast because it autocanceled, meaning there is no landlag.

* Resprite Wario
** This make him with better hitboxes placement.
* Dash more faster

- Ground attacks -
* Down smash stronger

- Aerial attacks -
* Up aerial weaker in knockback terms
* Down aerial stronger.

- Special attacks -
* Wario Bike now is SideB
* Fart lvl 3 and lvl 5 better (less endlag and more damage, respectively)

I'll admit the post of GIFs I made was lackluster, so I decided to try and come up with a couple of videos about Wario to upload ASAP; videos such as character basics, personal viewpoints, moveset analysis, tips to use in competitive play, etc. I'm gonna do these with commentary, so some of you may hear my awkward voice for the first time. I think the character basics are gonna be worked on first, since they seem easier.

Not proud of this, but I'm getting tired of redoing it so here. This is just showing all the combo setups Wario has. I decided to do this first because a lot of players who tried Wario out don't know how to do his easy combos.

People don't understand why Wario is not really viable in this game. He's a good character, yeah. But how about you take a look at the metagame as a whole and deduce how much threats there actually are for Wario? Disjoints? Speed? Projectiles? So-called priority? These are only about half of things Wario has to watch out for, but the main issue about these are, they're handed out to a rather large amount of characters. "Wario's a good character, maybe B or A tier." Instead of just looking at his combos, Chomp, and Wario Waft, how about you pit him against the whole cast and observe what Wario can and cannot do in each MU? Don't forget to analyze what is dominating the metagame and see if it matches Wario's biggest issues to deal with! Now, how about those combos? Think you can just Chomp and Waft to win? That combo setups video ain't proving your point anymore, huh?

There are people who are ignorant and say Wario is doing totally fine in the metagame (you know who you are). While I would love to agree with you, it's blatantly obvious that he is totally not fine in the metagame. I am starting to believe that this is just a farce so Wario does not end up being one of the most common characters used in competitive play. I understand; he's annoying to fight, generally boring to use, and is a stupid-looking character for most people. Look at all the other cool characters you can have fun fighting and have a better chance of winning with. Do you really not wanna have fun, and work extra hard for that minimum wage?

Wario's main issue isn't his character and how he functions. His main issue is how pretty much every other character functions. Wario has problems dealing with disjoints, projectiles, speed, floaties, range, and safety. If you take into account how dominant these things are for this game, you'll also start to notice how common they are as well.

So, uhh.. I guess, don't call Wario mid-high tier just because you did some combos and learned how good some of his moves are. Take the time to observe how he competes with everyone else in this game.

You're creating a false dichotomy between mid-high tier (which Wario is obviously not) and nonviable (which Wario is not as well). He has combos, can do well against characters that can't zone or space him out (which is a sizable portion of the cast), and even has one counter MU in Yoshi.

lol which portion of the cast is this? And yay. One counter to a character which not many people play and is no way OP. (I play Yoshi btw and doof wrecked me ;~;)

There are many characters that don't have a good zoning game or spacing game against Wario: Sora, Kirby, Puff, Ness, Mario, BBM (?), Tails, Yoshi, and possibly Goku. These matchups might not all be good, but you can't say that Wario gets outzoned and outspaced by everyone.

Wario is obviously not a good character, but he isn't nonviable: he's not even the worst character besides Chibi (according to the tier list) or Sora (in my estimation).
