Absolutely!! I've been meaning to (and I got a new internet package so the quality should be upgraded!), but tid's been living with me for the last little bit so I haven't had much of a chance haha. I'll plan one for the upcoming week or so.

First little venture into drawn animation, thought it would be fun to warm up with a hair animation. Didn't turn out too bad. Went for no revisions, just frame after frame. Learned a lot.

Thanks doc! I'm finally getting more used to coloring. It certainly was a struggle. Don't worry, haven't forgotten the requests. It'd be unfair if I only did Lyn lol.

Sure! I actually took pictures as I worked on this one, so although they aren't all amazing quality I can show the process.

My process: show

I color in blocks, so completely work on the hair, then the face, and so on. I color the basic form on one layer, basically just meshing and stacking colors until it has the form that I want. I do the shadows first to establish what kind of lighting I want, and then accentuate those shadows with highlights.

Here is after I did the basic colors for the hair and face. I use a color for the background that I know won't be in the full drawing. This way I know that if I see green peeking through anywhere that it's a mistake that I need to correct before moving on.

I gave her a blue edge light because I knew she was going to be in a night sky setting and I thought it would compliment her warm colors

Checking everything over a black background because that's where it was gonna end up

Finally, added the stars, blue clouds behind her, finished the broom and applied the lighting, and made some minor changes to the shading. Colored some outlines as well

This wasn't terribly in depth because I had to make due with the pictures that I have, but hopefully that helps!
