Unfortunatally, that excludes me then. But, I am hoping to get brawl soon.

If this were reddit I'd vote up that comment.

Back on the wind part, I've been trying to find a good follow-up for when the wind carries your opponent to you. The best I've found is grounded-up-B, held until the wind carries them past you, for big knockback.

Another I've gotten consistently is a forward-smash facing the opposite direction. So you face away from them, let the wind carry them in front of you, then forward-smash them in the same direction they're already going.

Thoughts?

I've heard that you can get both hits of the dsmash, so this is huge damage.

Ya characters with double sided down smashes can hit bigger characters and shields with both hits, but you have to be on top of your opponent. I hit DK & Falcon with both of the hits of Zelda's downsmash alot.

Would link be considered high tier in the current meta? I feel that with his projectiles, improved recovery, decent speed, nairs and uptilts in the current version are enough to win the match.

I kinda miss drinking milk with Link, but overall he feels faster and his attacks feel more fluid.

Old Link was definitely fun difficulty wise, but didn't have to much to go by.
New Link just mops up everyone in online.

Well if you guys nerf his Boomerang, don't make it not as useful like before, please. Perhaps you can change it so that the hit stun on the returning boomerang only lasts a set distance (e.g. 15 pixels from point of contact or something)? That way you'll avoid the 'carried away by the winds' issue while still allowing Link to retain his combo abilities with it.

Honestly, I think that change was actually intended to be in the game, but really, the change is great, since it helps buff him from the previous demo, to be honest.

Well, if you do count some speed and hitbox buffs, as well as the Boomerang Buff, Air Speed Buff, Bomb Jump, MUCH LESS LAGGY ATTACKS and his D-Air being a beast now, he's definitely got high tier or even, dare I say, Top Tier, locked down for him. The worst he could go would be high mid-tier.
