Fairy was already an egg group, wasn't it?

Personally, I think this is good. It will give the designers more freedom. We were starting to get a little too much frogs/cats/dogs/etc. on the 'dex, so this could be a good direction for more fantasy-like pokémon.

I think 'light' sounds better than 'fairy' but w/e. It brings more variety, so it's cool with me.

We have an apparent leak from Corocoro. Details listed:

the bird is obviously flying type
the goat looks like a grass type because of the grass on its neck
the thing on top looks like a rock or normal type
the bottom one looks like an electric type but maybe could be normal

The "thing on top" is obviously a panda, you pleb. And it's a Fighting type, apparently.

Custom protagonists would be a great thing to have in the pokémon games.

Also, I'm gonna guess that the panda is grass or partly grass type, due to him having what looks like a leaf in his mouth.

Nope, typings have been confirmed.

Panda - Fighting
Robin - Normal/Flying
Goat - Grass
Lizard - Electric/Normal
