Not too long ago, Apple's "phone of the future" was announced and showcased. The iPhone X, which is alleged to have been in development for 10 years, is Apple's most impressive phone yet, with sweet AR abilities and its new Face ID feature.

The target audience is basic b**** obsessed with their own appearance, and I refuse to associate myself with such a crowd, so even despite its impressive hardware, I'm getting a phone who's screen won't crack if I drop it 3 feet or let it touch water: the Galaxy S8 Active.

Paraphrasing HFF, a thin phone with a front side that's 99.9% screen is not my thing. I'm also kinda uncomfortable with the fact that my home button's gone
Also, regarding its "new and improved camera":

Although I do like the hardware upgrades, overall I don't think it's worth getting unless you're a photo fanatic with your phone
Though honestly I've never really been a fan of Apple's products so this may be just inner bias speaking
