I really have no expectations with new or returning characters other than wanting Captain Falcon to return (which may or may not happen).

For those of you who find it insulting that your favorite character isn't playable in Smash 4, get your head out of your butt.

It's funny, when Mewtwo was first in Melee, everyone hated him.

Wait what ? Not everybody hates Mewtwo in Melee. They might not like playing him, because yeah he is bad, but people don't hate or love characters themselves only because they are good or bad.

I'm pretty sure C.Falcon is way more popular than Jigglypuff, it might be a bad example because there isn't a huge difference between them in term of viability, but still.
Personnaly I love Mewtwo design-wise, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like this.

You're not. If it weren't for his incapability in competitive combat I'd use no one but him. He's amazing.

Despite everything I still anticipate a playable return.

I hope Mewtwo doesn't come back. Then I can laugh at all the butthurt people who will rage and complain about sakurai and smash but will still end up buying the game.

Unless Jigglypuff isn't returning, I doubt it. I don't think Pokemon should have more reps than Mario, and I doubt Mario will get 6 reps.

I think the original 12 are gonna return no matter what. Even with 3 still in limbo I'm pretty sure we'll see them again. Jigglypuff already outlived its relevance once in Brawl, why not ow again?

Hell, as the guy who thinks Pokemon is utterly oversaturaturated, I have too much care for the original 12 to want to see Jiggly go. Same deal for Ness and the Cap

It's that thing that flies around and has the stupid sing move and you pick it when you want to humiliate the s*** out of some tryhard and Jigglypuff mains are not of this world

I don't think you have to worry about Wario, what with Waluigi and all.

I do remember Sakurai saying there would be ABOUT as many characters as in Brawl. So if, just as a guess, we had 40 instead of 35, and then account for the seperated transformations, there are a total of 8 new slots already on the roster. Meaning, even with my hopeful guess, that's 3 characters removed. At exactly the same size as Brawl's, it's 8 =\
