I tried it myself and there seems to be a contrast issue with the sprite. Try making the gray/black a bit darker. Currently, it stands out brightly because of the black outline surrounding it. Also, reduce the number of colors in the yellow in the shirt. The hair should also have an entirely different color, it looks too similar to the skin.

I like the pale skin color, it suits the sprite. The outline are definitely excellent however, there's a shiny object under one of the goggles's glasses that I can't read very well. The main problem now is the overuse of black in the sprite. Also, try to be more consistent with your shading. One side of the hat has a straight line of shading, the other side doesn't but their both straight.

EDIT: I just noticed that you posted your stuff on Pixelation and Pixeljoint. You're definitely gonna learn a lot from those places.
