1. Sora, pretty fast and can chain combos easily. Feels pretty smooth playing as him. Not too much kill power, but just enough.

2. Chibi-Robo, where do I start? His air game is pretty good. up air is so good He has few really good kill moves. Except for when he just takes your attacks and throws them right back at ya, and his grab range is amazing!

I had another I liked in 0.9a, but I felt like he is worse here. Bomberman, his bombs you really have to plan out and it isn't fun to do that. Maybe it would be better if I learned him more.

Goku's my favorite, he's been my main since 0.8b. I just like his moveset because I know it quite well.
He is pretty well-rounded, just doesnt have a long-reaching projectile.

Sora obv, cause Kingdom Hearts.

In all seriousness, it's because it doesn't feel restrictive playing as him. Other characters require much stricter understanding of spacing and whatever(mostly non-disjointed characters), but Sora can get away with a lot lol

Mega Man: I really enjoyed the Mega Man games because playing him in SSF2. Kinda corny, but true. He holds a special place in my heart since he Introduced me to the series and his spritework made me wanna learn how to sprite and design. He was also really fun in 0.6 and 0.7, but I feel that he's sorta lacking now in this version.

Tails: When I played the first SSF, I thought that Tails was terrible. Then 0.7 Came out, and my opinion changed completely. I like the way he plays. Very versatile and decent speed. He's also fairly easy to control and get used to.

Fox: I've always played as Fox. Although I've only played the muiltplayer on one Starfox game, his animation and attacks always made me like him. Although I haven't picked him up yet in this version, that is bound to change in the future.

Naruto: Hella awesome comboability and such a satisfying F-Air.

Meta Knight: I really like the character a lot. The spritework that Geno did is also amazing and he really fits my playstyle.

Ichigo: My true main. Although I never got into Bleach, playing as Ichigo was always a hell of a experience. Hitting combos and attacks with him is just so satisfying.

Its Peach for me, I liked her in 0.9a and now I LOVE her in 0.9b! She has great edgeguarding, good aerials, and D-tilt is an awesome combo starter and finisher for opponents going for ledge.

I also like Marth because I could never figure out how to play him at a high level of play in Melee, but now I can do the stuff that Melee pros do in SSF2 because its easier!

Lloyd because I feel like he was a character made for me. He has everything I need in a Smash Bros character (of course, there are things I would like to see him do but that might make him slightly broken).

I also enjoy Meta-Knight cuz once you understand the basics of him and start playing with him you enter a state of euphoria as you have the greatest time of your life doing the coolest stuff you will ever see a Smash character do.

Marth is also awesome. His character forum proves it (my God that thing has blown up).

I'll just go ahead and briefly list off why I love the chars in my sig:

Mario: He has fast attacks with low or no lag, has good combo game, and a great recovery.

Sonic: He has fast attacks, great grab throws, and amazing K.O. moves.

Sora: AMAZING combo game, and his side-b certainly helps that.

Naruto: Also has good combo game, plus his attacks are fast and has great K.O. moves.

Jigglypuff: Arguably has the best combo ability in the game, and I love how floaty she is.

Ness: Amazing grab throws, great f-smash attack, and has a great air game.

Mega Man: Awesome projectiles, range, and recovery.

Zelda: Strong attacks with high knockback, and an awesome side-b.

Zelda: Super strong with plenty of cool tricks. My current fave.
Kirby: Has some haaaard counters (no point playing a good Ichigo or any swordy for that matter), but can be so deadly against more favorable match ups.
Lloyd: Honestly feels OP at times with some of the things he can do. A DI novice has little chance.
Sora: Such great ability to chain stuff together, and it doesn't always have to be the same thing. He's a pretty organic player and really fun to use once you get someone airborne. If only his Strike Raid and Thundaga were more effective (i.e. you could freaking move after using them).
Meta Knight: My Brawl main. God I hate Brawl now.

Sonic:
Very satisfying to play as. So many options out of his spin dash which makes him nigh unpredictable in the right hands. Very good recovery. Way2fast4u

Naruto:
His combos. No seriously, that's it. Have you seen them? They're amazing. Why aren't you using?

Ichigo:
His range, along with his Getsuga Tenshou, and pretty quick movement speed/surprisingly fast tilts and aerials. His side B is the new Light Dash and combos into a lot.

my favorite is yoshi

1: he is a really fast pase character with alot of kill potential
2:his projectile gives him a little air time wich is use full for trying to hit someone in the air with it
3:his airial game is great having his fair being a f*** meteor effect
4:DJC'ing with yoshi feels very natural and by doing DJC your arial come out very quickly espacilly combining DJC with a short hop to nair
5:its my second favorite species and whas my favorite untill pokemon pearl came out
