Well,following what i did rode out there,Waluigi was cut off from MK7 to let the game get new and fresh characters

Yeah that makes sense I wonder if they will bring back any of the new characters that were new in Mario Kart 7 like Metal Mario I did like him and Wiggler I though was ok and Lakitu. Hopefully they don't bring back honey queen because nobody likes her, she was a dumb character to add in the game in my opinion.

The only character i think deserves a return from 7 is Lakitu, since he's been there from the beginning, just never playable til 7. Metal Mario is cool, but since Baby Mario is likely going to return, do we really need 3 Marios?

I kinda don't think that any of the baby characters will be returning it just seems unlikely to me they got rid of the baby characters in MK7 and I haven't heard any signs of them returning and I think that nintendo is going to go in a new direction and get rid of the baby characters because I think that they have noticed that having baby mario and an adult mario in a mario kart game is just not right. But we will see.

Trailer doesnt show everything. You cant even count all that as fact, the game is still in development.

yes. However,in mario kart wii's trailer baby characters are shown. PLUS,in mario kart wii one of the baby characters (baby mario) was a starting character,so they have to put at least 1 baby something at starting content to show if there will be baby characters

Again, game is still in development, just because something didnt show up in the first few trailers doesnt mean it wont be in the game, returning content or not. They do not have to do anything to show that baby characters will return, perhaps they werent finished yet or something at the time of the trailers. Or maybe they're just deciding not to focus on showing the characters rather than showing off the new game mechanics.
