You don't get it do you? Why did you (hypothetically) dissappear? Because you killed your grandfather. So he is dead and you changed the future so you don't exist. The world keeps rotating, with the grandfather dead and you dissappeared. Technically, you dissappeared because you changed your past, so in the future you don't exist anymore. That doesn't mean your grandfather will revive somehow for someone to kill him again. You changed it and he is dead and you don't exist. There is no loop in there, the world continues with him dead. The other possibility is that you now have another father of course. But of course, this isn't possible. _________________    |

But, if someone traveled back in time and changed something, wouldn't the effects of whatever they did in the past already have taken place in the future? Causing seemingly no difference at all?
What I mean is, anything that is going to happen because of someone traveling to the past has already happened, because we're ahead of the past. |
