Yeah, it was a lot better.

I'd complain about it just being Capcom trying to get more money but there's an actual sandbox mode and also I can be Protoman so it's cool

Yeah I agree also because Off the Record essentially offers the same and much more plus Frank West. (making the original DR2 just an inferior version all-around)



Speaking of Dead Rising; anyone heard there might be a third one coming?

Haven't heard anything, but I think DR2 sold like 2 million copies or so

Nothing to say it can't happen

edit: actually, according to Google, DR3 has shown up on somebodies resume

so it might just be happening

From what I've heard, Dead Rising 3 features a car engineer as it's main character and is set somewhere in Texas, with the story focussing on illegal immigrants.
