I vote me being the worst player this game.

Besides, I've been on a different forum now. Depending on the mafia game, I'll rejoin.

But seriously, I hated this. The bombs weren't a good aspect to me, and my role was just... ehhhh.

Dude, you had such a cool role. It's just a shame that you kicked the bucket so early.

Nah, Genis. You were not the worst player. You just didn't play. I have a list of worst players in this game and you are not there.

ok, time for 194 criticism post!

Guys: this game was terrible. Why? I think I got 2 reasons for it.

First: the bomb mechanic. This mechanic was intended to make you notice a recurring problem with MG Mafia players: you use to overtrust abilities. Vía the bomb mechanic, basically everyone was a technical vanilla in at least one night. when you are vanilla, the only thing you can do is: read and play as if you WERE vanilla. Doing traditional scum-hunting. Looking for reads. You guys failed at doing reads: TUF just jumped ou of nowhere and hammered. Crabby was pressuring PM all day; once PM got lynched, it was becoming obvious that Crabby was no-town. Also, Mafia systematically killed all smart players, or players who were slowing their plans (135, DJ Wiz). And Crabby wasn't being killed. Weird?

Also, once you got abilities, you were using them bad. I got mad at Pachino stockpiling bombs. His only function was to look for Sanae and protect her. However, he just used his ability ONCE in all game. In case you are asking, every role had different amounts of bombs at game start. This way, protective and investigative roles, having both cheap abilities and lots of bombs, could use their abilities from start. However, watching people stockpiling bombs all day... I got mad at Nixter. Cactus announced to everyone that he was going to investigate Believeblood. Why did you decide to bus from BB to Brik? Did you suspect Brik? Wasn't Brik clear after the DJ Wiz flower incident?

The whole point of the game was to read well the roles, so you could use your abilities with precision (required, because power roles had expensive abilities). If you are not doing reads or pressuring, stuff likes this happens: Mafia takes control of the game, becomes obvious, you misues abilities and end up giving Mafia a perfect victory.

I will dedicate some paragraphs to player-specific roles soon. Stay tuned!

I didn't get how everyone ignored the fact BB was Mafia when I had investigated him and proved him guilty. All he said was "I'm not guilty" And everyone ignored him and went for Brik, who was clearly a third Party.

It's because Nixter bussed your investigation to me on a night that I appeared guilty. Sucks.

I would like to make a general note to the Town-sided players.

This is a game where you need to think for yourselves.

One of the most potent tools of the Mafia is accusing a Townie. This way, not only can they get rid of one of their enemies, but they can also avoid a lynch themselves because the Town is busy lynching someone else. This means, you can't buy just anyone's argument when they say some player is guilty. Are their claims strong and solid enough to warrant a lynch? Does there seem to be logical fallacies? A player who seems to be experienced could be a great source of expert opinion for the town, but keep in mind that they could also be a misleading Mafia player.

So yeah, think for yourselves. Are they being reasoned with their claims?

Also, for those of you familiar with the Prosecution/ Defense legal system (the style used in Ace Attorney games), people generally examine both sides of an argument to see if someone is guilty. In Mafia, a similar principle could be derived. Give people a chance to defend themselves before voting en masse.

One of the more powerful defenses is the Role Claim. IMO for the general case, a player should claim before being lynched.

That's all for now. BRB.
