Most people turn off all items in the item switch menu so they can't be spawned from Sandbag's capsule

Capsule Pull is kind of a weird move really (Not in a bad way though). And even if you turns item off, the exploding capsule sorta gives it some RNG kill potential.

It's less meta though as she mostly pulls turnips and has a small chance of pulling items.

Sandbag on the other hand literall uses one of the Smash series' original items.

sandbag already have more than three sprites tho
a sprite for shielding where he makes the :huh: face. :sandbag:
and 2 winking sprites (final smash/victory) :sandbag:

but yeah, a more expressive sandbag would be cool (and humorous)

yeah it didn't surprise me at all.
all of his trophy since melee always contain a sentence about him enjoy getting beaten up.
it's just ultimate finally made sandbag's masochist side obvious by virtue of him finally emoting in that game.

our sandbag is a more of a rebel than a masochist tho :sandbag:

These are my thoughts on all of :sandbag: moves. the order will be normals, aerials, smashes, specials
n=neutral, u=up s=side/forward b= backward and d = down

Normals:

N: A good quick kill move for most characters
U: A nice basic combo start and combos into itself at low %
S: A good move that sends people and a pretty good angle
D: The only reason I use this is another taunt or to mix up with dash attack
Dash attack: A good backup kill move

Aerials:

N: A quick get the f*** off me attack and I use it to approach
U: A good vertical combo tool
S: A decent kill move at mid-high %
B: Combo tool but use this less than U-air, but can combo into S-tilt
D: Spike with a bit of start-up but feels satisfying to land the spike

Smashes:

U: The Second hit sends them sideways instead of the expected up
S: The main kill move for beginners
D: If you hit the spike on the ground it sends at a better angle, If they are on the ledge it can kill but most people don't stay on the ledge enough for the invincibility to run out.

Specials

N: generates items or can be used for a wonky projectile
U: Use it as recovery, but i hope you're good at teching
S: You can grab your opponents string S-B's together or, a decent recovery tool
D: Use it to recover or approach with the sideways option and an aerial

Rating:
Sandbag is an odd character but hits like a truck once you know how to fight with him.

So y'all know how Sandbag drops his UpB bob-omb when something happens to him (mostly being hit) and the bob-omb deals the true bob-omb item's knockback and damage
What i didn't know, is that sliding off a ledge/platform also makes him drop his bomb (and become helpless)

I'm going to call it "bomb-drop"
the setup that so far worked best for me was jumping of a platform, DownB towards it when just slightly above its height and then UpB immediately.
If the platforms are small or close enough, a cancelled dash-attack into an immediate UpB may do the trick, but you'll almost always be in the explosion's range if the platforms are low
bombs away: show
warning if you're trying this in ToS: bob-ombs hit the ledge on the right side, but fall down normally on the left side

Unfortunately (or fortunately), you cannot catch the bob-omb

The default 3 platforms is likely the best setup for bomb-dropping, dash-cancelling off a platform then immediatelly using UpB almost always works, but don't dash too early or you won't keep enough momentum to stay out of the explosion's range

The left and right platforms are at a more than safe height from the ground

Diagonal

Middle and Right platforms can be used for bomb-dropping, avoid doing it going offstage for the right platform however

Arrow(i'm calling it that)

Oh, and if you happen to do it with near frame/pixel-perfection on a low platform, you can actually avoid getting exploded
