It's a bit too short, and makes him look really fat, aside from that and the eyes, this is really good!

Having anorexia/being 'funky'=/=having a leg that is completely twisted and broken.

Don't blame it on 'the style' if the anatomy is wrong.

EDIT: Also traced. Reason why it looks weird is because you probably traced it wrong.

I think you are practising completely wrong and should rethink your process if you intend to continue with spriting.

But you can do it better.
The Shading is the main thing that you need to improve.

@ Steven: By shading, original posing, or both?
@Metalknight: humans are pretty hard to sprite at the moment.
