ARISE TOPIC, RISE FROM THE DEPTHS OF THE SPRITER'S SECTION.

Technically not sprites yet but I'll probably use them later as roughs once I'm happy with a base sprite and palette.

Pretty good and an epic come back from the grave as well. How about something a bit more tricky. First it fast then it slow then it crazy then it come to calming end. That the only way I want to suggest the next animation.

if the second is supposed to be an attack it's kinda weak looking but nonetheless

Haha, I'd have to agree with you. Hopefully they'll get better with more practice.

@Lucky Crime: Only thing I can think of is run cycle, walk cycle, thatswordrainattackthatendsingetsugatenshou, skid to stop.

I love the art style, with a bit of smoothing out and colouring, this could make for some pretty sexy animations.

Thanks mahn. I tried doing one in pencil so that I could clean it up after, but it's a lot harder than just the pen. Guess I need more practice. ;)
I will clean these up though by making them sprites later. Doing Galacta Knight as an expansion.

Wings are kinda choppy, but they're the hardest part since I have to switch orientations and drawing a vertical line for a side view of the wing looks silly. Maybe it'll work better though. I'll try it.

The walk cycle animation is a bit cloudy. You may wanna fix that up a bit

As for the retro sprites, everything is nice but the box enemy kinda doesn't fit into it well.

Yea. He doesn't fit stylistically to the way you shaded those retro sprites in entirely. Hes got a completely different shading style on him. The rest seems to fit very well though

This is a flawless victory with so much detail packed into this tiny sprite. Animating will be a pain.
